University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro (UMCPP) on Saturday, May 12, will host an open house to provide community members with a sneak peek at the new hospital, which will officially open on May 22.
Visitors will be able to meet the staff and enjoy tours, screenings, entertainment, refreshments, prizes and giveaways, and more.
The event will include a special grand opening ceremony with remarks from Princeton HealthCare System (PHCS) President and CEO Barry Rabner. Rabner will be joined by Donald Hofmann, chairman of the PHCS Board of Trustees, U.S. Sen. Robert Menendez, U.S. Rep. Rush Holt and Plainsboro Mayor Peter Cantu, along with numerous other local, county and state officials.
A separate ribbon cutting ceremony with brief remarks from Rabner will kick off the open house at noon.

UMCPP is delighted that many people have already RSVP’d and has worked with the Plainsboro police to ensure that parking will be quick, safe and enjoyable.
Media representatives may park at the west entrance of the new hospital. A parking pass is attached. All cars with a visible Handicapped Parking sign may also park at the new hospital.
All other guests will be directed to nearby lots and travel to and from the new hospital on large, comfortable buses – and enjoy door prize drawings on their short ride.
Guests should look for Event Parking signs in Plainsboro. If using a GPS, the address is: 600 College Road East, Plainsboro, N.J. However, please note some GPS devices may require guests to enter Princeton instead of Plainsboro.
