St. Paul Church, located at 214 Nassau Street, is holding an organ concert featuring recitalist Ahreum Han on Sunday, November 8 at 3:00 pm.Works will include Marcel Dupre, Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy,Louis Vierne, Clair de Lune, Guy Bovet, Hamburg Totentanz, Carl Maria vonWeber and Franz Liszt.
Ms. Han earned a bachelor’s degree in organ performance from Westminster Choir College, and a master’s degree from Yale School of Music and Yale Institute of Sacred Music. She has performed with the Curtis Symphony Orchestra at Philadelphia’s Kimmel Center, the University of Pennsylvania Orchestra at Irvine Auditorium, as well as solo performances at the Kimmel Center’s widely-acclaimed Cooper Memorial Organ, Ocean Grove Auditorium, St. Bartholomew’s Church in New York City, Trinity Church at Wall Street, St. Philip’s Cathedral in Atlanta, Jack Singer Hall in Calgary and the Princeton University Chapel. She currently works as a faculty and an accompanist at United Girls Choir School in New Haven, and is the organist at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Stamford, CT.
