Blue goes Green
This seems to be denim week. Strolling past the GAP there is a massive banner promoting their recycle your jeans program. Take in any pair of adult jeans that no longer fit, never did fit, or that just ‘have to go’, and they will take 30% off the price of a new denim item (jeans, jacket, shirt – you choose!). They don’t have to be GAP jeans…just jeans! The jeans go to Habitat for Humanity where they will be recycled into housing insulation.
But the real Scoop? Wear your new jeans to D&R Greenway’s Down to Earth Ball on Saturday April 24th at Double Brook Farm in Hopewell. Only $75 a ticket, locally grown fare prepared by DISH catering and dancing to Bill Flemmer’s Riverside Bluegrass Band. Plus hay rides, live auction, and ‘Putt for Preservation’ (a $10 game to win a round of golf!)
Denim and Dancing under the stars to help our planet? Sounds like blue just went green. See you there!
