On Monday June 27th, Camp Gan Israel of Greater Mercer County will open its doors and heart to campers for the eleventh consecutive summer. Chabad is proud that it has established a loving summer home for local campers to enjoy and to be nourished in for many years to come. Camp "Gan Izzy", established in 2001, is a treasure trove of custom-tailored activities. The programs offered allow campers to experience summer the way it should be experienced: with exciting, relaxing, eye-opening, and educational activities that will become a source of their best childhood memories. Counselors, staff and administration are defined by their ethics, patience, and energetic devotion to the campers and their safety. Camp Gan Israel continues to meet a vital need in the Greater Mercer County area, presenting a dream summer of arts, athletics, adventure and friendship for children ages 3-12, all within a loving Jewish framework. All campers learn fundamental techniques in a large variety of activities, along with the important values of teamwork and sportsmanship.
