Kinnara Sings “Of Wit and Whimsy” at Trinity Church November 13, 2010
The Kinnara™ Ensemble will perform “ Of Wit and Whimsy” at Trinity Church of Princeton, 33 Mercer Street, Princeton on Saturday, November 13th at 8 pm. The one-hour concert is a diverse collection of gently amusing choral music including music by Schumann and Barber. The suggested donation is $20.
Audiences statewide have recognized the Kinnara™ Ensemble for their warmth of sound and musical dexterity. Under the artistic direction of J.D. Burnett, the 20 professional artists who comprise the ensemble come from NJ, NY and PA. They have performed as the Kinnara Ensemble throughout the state and as individuals throughout the world. Burnett serves on the faculty at Montclair State University and on the music staffs of the Masterwork Chorus and the New Jersey Youth Chorus.
The mission of the Kinnara Ensemble is to animate the spirit through world-class choral music. Formed in 2008, the ensemble is a non-profit organization, dedicated to bringing the finest choral music to NJ and providing new opportunity for the young professional choral singer. https://kinnaraensemble.org/
