15th District Town Hall Budget Meeting May 25, 2010
Please join us for a special state budget hearing for Mercer County residents.
In these difficult economic times, with massive budget cuts proposed by the Governor, it is more important than ever that you come out, learn the facts and have your voice heard. This forum will provide a great opportunity for you to hear, first hand, how the Governor’s proposed cuts in state aid may affect your town, your school district and consequently your property taxes.
We are here to listen and get your feedback so that together we can create a budget that is lean, but fair, and protects the needs of our most vulnerable, particularly seniors and children.
Given the ongoing opportunities for organizations and advocacy groups to voice their opinions at statewide budget hearings, we would like to stress that, while all are welcome to attend this event, the opportunity to voice an opinion will be reserved for individual residents.
