Immigration Issues, and More, Addressed at Ask-a-Lawyer Program June 23, 2010

Free legal advice on immigration issues, as well as general legal questions, will be offered to all interested people on Wednesday, June 23, 2010, from 7 – 8:30 p.m.,

in the second floor Conference Room at the Princeton Public Library, 65 Witherspoon Street, Princeton.

The Ask-a-Lawyer Program started in 1999 to meet a need expressed by the local Latino community: access to affordable legal services.  This program is offered four times every year by the Latin American Task Force of Princeton.  Local lawyers volunteer their time to provide individual private consultations.  Though not definitive legal consultations, they offer an opportunity for a brief review of current applicable law or to get a second opinion.  Spanish interpreters will be available.

The Ask-a-Lawyer series is co-sponsored by the Latin American Task Force, the Princeton Public Library, the Housing Authority of the Borough of Princeton, Mercer County Bar Association and Lutheran Social Ministries of New Jersey.
