PRS Meetings/Playing Sessions

Members of the Princeton Recorder Society hold a meeting, open to the public, on the second Tuesday of every month from September through Map. Each meeting is a Playing Session except for the May Meeting, which is Consort Night. Check calendar to confirm dates.

All meetings are at the Kingston Presbyterian Church, 4565 Route 27 in Kingston New Jersey. (Note that computer maps will work with address 4561.) Socializing begins at 7:00 pm. Music takes place from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm, usually with a brief stretch during the meeting. For the Playing Sessions, guest conductors provide the sheet music and lead the group. In May, Consort Night provides an opportunity for members to share music they've prepared.

All playing levels are welcome to attend. Our more experienced players are happy to be "buddies" with those who enjoy some reinforcement on their playing parts. Everyone wears a nametag to promote fellowship. Attendees are asked to bring their own music stands.

From U.S. Highway 1, take Ridge Road heading west until you get to the traffic light at Route 27. Make a right and the church is immediately on your left. There is ample parking in the lot behind the church. Upon entering the door closest to the parking lot, walk down the hallway to the last room for the meeting.
