Congratulations are in order for the Jersey Harmony Chorus whose members earned the small chorus second place ribbon in the Sweet Adelines Greater New York Region 15 Competition. The region, which encompasses New York and New Jersey, sponsored its annual competition in Philadelphia recently.
Under the new direction of Kat Britt, who also won this year’s novice director award, the chorus deftly performed a fast-paced tune as well as a beautiful ballad. The 24-member chorus includes women of all ages, and performs a repertoire of songs in a capella, four-part harmony, barbershop style.
Women who love to sing are invited to visit the chorus any Monday evening at 7:15 p.m. at 112 Main Street in Forrestal Village, Princeton, NJ.
