New Enable Board Member Elected

October 12, 2009

West Windsor, N.J. – The Board of Trustees at Enable, Inc., a non-profit organization that serves individuals with disabilities and their families throughout the central New Jersey region, recently elected new trustee Hilary Morris.

In 2009, Morris founded H. Morris Solutions, LLC, a Princeton-based company providing public relations, event planning and virtual assistance services for small businesses, organizations and entrepreneurs. Additionally, the company specializes in marketing and business promotion through social media such as blogging and Twitter. Prior to founding her company, Morris taught math and computer classes to middle school students. She led an initiative to develop an advanced math curriculum and to enhance computer courses.

Morris earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from Bucknell University and is certified to teach NJ-Standard K-8 and NJ-Middle School Math. She is currently working towards completing a Public Relations Certificate from Rider University. Morris co-chairs Enable’s Possibility Pursuit Committee which is planning a 5K run, indoor fitness walk and pet walk for February 28, 2010. Morris noted, "Volunteering at Enable has connected me with some great individuals who all share the same goals of helping people and having fun. I've been able to use my skills in public relations to help grow a good cause like the Enable Possibility Pursuit charity walk and run.” She has been a volunteer and consultant for the Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce and has designed programs and flyers for Chamber events and created the new member handbook. She currently resides in Princeton with husband Rob and daughter Maddy.

Enable, Inc., founded in 1989, provides services and supports to persons with disabilities and their families, offering a variety of options from group homes to in-home services, day programs and individualized supports.
