A recent newspaper article stated:
"The Hopewell Valley Chorus takes the lead in this eclectic performance. Hopewell Valley has been staging concerts in the area since 1960, and, to celebrate its 40th anniversary, it scheduled an informal jamboree in 2000 to give voice to a number of local vocal groups. It was a time for musicians to hear each other, try out new pieces and share ideas. The public was invited, and so began the annual Spring into Song." -- The Times, Thursday, March 30, 2006 (To read Mea Kaemmerlen's complete article, click here. )
