Everything Pumpkins at Terhune's Family Fun Festival, Oct 8, 9 & 10, 10am-5pm!
Pumpkins, pumpkins, pumpkins! Our FALL WEEKENDS OF FARM FAMILY FUN at TERHUNE ORCHARDS will continue Oct. 8, 9 and 10th for the Columbus Day weekend as we celebrate all things pumpkin! The farm is full of pumpkins of every size and shape for decorating, making Jack-o-lanterns, or even cooking. Ride the tractor-drawn farm wagon to the pumpkin patch to pick you own pumpkin. Gary plants pumpkins with fanciful names like Prankster and Mystic. Kids love painting their small pumpkins at the farm. Pam's food tent includes plenty of pumpkin treats, including pumpkin muffins, pumpkin bread, pumpkin seeds, pumpkin pie, pumpkin cookies and more. The food tent is full of homemade soup and chili, barbecued chicken, pork sandwiches and hot dogs, salads, cookies and, of course, apple cider donuts, apple pie and cider. Find a spot at the picnic tables by the pond and enjoy! Fun for adults, visit our winery tasting room to sample our new vintages, including our popular apple wine. Come visit the the Adventure barn "Legends and Lore of New Jersey". Play on the pedal tractors, explore the corn stalk maze, visit our friendly barnyard full of farm animals and enjoy local bands, between noon and 4 p.m: Borderline will play on Saturday, Mountain Heritage will play on Sunday and Jay Smarr will perform on Monday. Rain or shine 10-5pm. Parking at the farm. Admission fee to the festival area is $5.00-children under 3 are free. The Farm Store, pumpkin and mum display and our winery tasting room are open without admission fee. Convenient parking is available at the farm on Cold Soil Road. There is no admission fee to our Pick Your Own apple orchard on Van Kirk Road.
