The weekend our fall harvest festival will feature a visit from our favorite alpacas and their breeders, who will answer questions about the handsome South American animals and their hypoallergenic fur. Alpaca toys, fibers and clothing will be for sale.
Beginning Saturday, Oct. 1 visitors can also stop in the back of our winery tasting barn to see our display of winners of this year's "Picture Perfect at Terhune Orchards" photo contest. The photos of the farm will be on display through the month of October. (above photo is 2010 Honorable Mention winner)
Enjoy wagon rides, visit the Corn Stalk Maze, the Barn of Legends and Lore, ponyrides, pedal tractors and our barnyard of farm animals. Don't worry about lunch, there's lots of food available - soup, chili, pulled pork, BBQ chicken, hot dogs, pies, apple cider donuts, apple cider, and more! Terhune Orchards features live music played by some of our best local talent, Eco Del Sur on Saturday and Riverside on Sunday (between noon and 4pm). Pick your own pumpkin from our pumpkin patch. Children will have fun painting their pumpkins at our painting station. Admission $5.00-children under 3 are free. The Farm Store, pumpkin and mum display and our new winery and tasting room are open without admission. Parking is at the farm. No admission to Pick-Your-Own orchard on Van Kirk Road.
