Last Days of Summer's Bounty at Terhune's

Enjoy the height of the summer season for fruits and vegetables. Our farm store is filled with fresh picked organic lettuces, potatoes, beets, radishes, peppers, tomatoes. Sweet melons and juicy peaches and nectarines remind us that we still have summer days ahead. Pears and this season's Honeycrisp, Gala, Ginger Gold and Jersey Mac apples are also just off the trees.

Pick Your Own

Apples - Sat. Aug. 27th and Sun. Aug. 28th, we will be picking Gala apples at the home farm at 330 Cold Soil Road. Our Van Kirk Road Pick Your Own Orchard will open on Sat. Sept. 3rd. Gala are really good--come early and get here before Irene!

Blackberries and raspberries are still ripening daily and are available for picking Look for the berries that are deep color indicating full ripeness.

Berries are $5.50/lb. Picking is 9am-5pm as supplies last. Please call the farm store to check on availability 609-924-2310.

Our Pick Your Own Flower patch is bursting with color. Pick your own bouquet at $.25 a flower.

Terhune Orchards Vineyard & Winery

Free Tasting Fridays during the month of August. Come in and beat the heat and enjoy a tasting of our very own wines.

Just released, our new fruit wines - Harvest Blues (apple-blueberry) and Just Peachy (apple-peach). Made from our own apple cider, these fruity wines are a wonderful for nice warm summer day. Free samples of these new wines Fri-Sun.

Tasting room hours. Friday through Sunday - 12pm- 6pm

Read & Pick ApplesTuesday August 30 - 9:30 & 11am

Read & Pick is an innovative program that combines picking fruit with your young child and listening to a story highlighting the fruit. Parents and young children (ages preschool to 8 years) are welcome to celebrate everything wonderful about apples. We will be reading books highlighting apples and Johnny Appleseed! Then everyone will pick his or her own small container of apples. The cost is $7.00 per child and includes the container of apples. Our staff will explain how apples grow and how they should be picked. Pre-registration is requested..Program is at our home farm, 330 Cold Soil Road.
