FREE Earth Day Event for Girl Scouts Saturday, April 16
Princeton Shopping Center invites all Daisy, Brownie, and Junior Girl Scouts, and all children ages 5 – 10, to attend its free Earth Day Celebration on Saturday, April 16, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Shopping Center, 301 North Harrison Street in Princeton.
“The children who attend our Earth Day Celebration are in for a treat,” says Chris Hannington, General Manager at Princeton Shopping Center. “First, Pepper de Turro, President of Woodwinds, will be on hand with real, live worms and a pot of worm tea to show the kids how all-natural worm tea can help fertilize plants and keep pests out of your garden,” Hannington says. “Then, the kids will learn how important plants are to the environment. Everyone will get to decorate a flowerpot and plant a seedling in it and take it home to commemorate Earth Day.”
In addition to the flower pot and seedling, all Girl Scouts will take home an Earth Day Fun Patch. For more information, please call 609-921-6234 or email PrincetonShopping.Center@verizon.net.
