Girls Travel Hockey Returns to Nassau

 We are thrilled to announce that Nassau girls travel hockey will be starting back up for the 2011-2012 hockey season.  We plan to have at least one U-12 team (for girls born in 1999 or later), though we may add additional teams if there is sufficient interest.  As with all Nassau hockey efforts, our focus will be on skills development and fun, so we encourage girls of all experience and ability levels to join us.
 
Andy Latham and Tom Horsley, veteran Nassau coaches and fathers of Nassau girls, will be the coaches.  We have scheduled an informal skate for all interested girls at the PDS rink on Sunday, March 27 from 9:40-11:10AM.  We will start at 9:40 with a quick informational meeting in the PDS lobby for the girls and their families.  Then from 10-11:10 we will do some skating drills and on-ice games with the girls, so they should bring their full equipment.
