Kate Manne is a professor in the Sage School of Philosophy at Cornell University and specializes in moral, social and feminist philosophy. She is the recipient of the PROSE award in philosophy and in the humanities and APA's Lebowitz Prize for Philosophical Achievement and Contribution. Tressie McMillan Cottom is a professor in the School of Information and Library Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Macmillan Cottom is a writer and sociologist whose essays have been featured by The Daily Show, NPR, PBS, CBC, Time, VIBE, Entertainment Weekly, Well-Read Black Girl and Chris Hayes.
Lectures are held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in McCosh Hall, Room 50. No tickets or reservations are required.

Families supporting loved ones with long-term care needs often face difficult legal and planning decisions. Families, caregivers, professionals, and community members are invited to gain a better understanding of legal pathways that protect loved ones with dignity and respect. Participants will learn the basics of estate and long-term care planning, including wills, decision-making authority, guardianship, inheritance considerations, Medicaid planning, and the benefits of planning ahead rather than reacting in a crisis. Princeton Comic Makers presents: JERSEY ART MEETUPS (JAM), a weekly social event connecting creatives within the greater Central Jersey area through a shared passion for sequential art and new media. Attendees may use this open workshop space to draw, write, and develop their own artwork, with an opportunity to receive peer review and feedback from other members if desired. Illustrators, animators, writers, and generalists are all welcome to join and discuss their art and career goals, share learning resources, promote current projects, or find friends and collaborators.
