Princeton – Princeton Day School is pleased to announce that Andrea Jenkins ‘13 has signed to play Division I Field Hockey for Princeton University beginning in the fall. Jenkins is a resident of Belle Mead, NJ, and a strong student-athlete at the school.
Varsity Field Hockey Coach Tracey Arndt remarked, “Andrea Jenkins is one of the finest players to come through PDS. She is a tremendously skilled player, both on attack and defense. She is a finisher and a gamer. She was one of our leading goal scorers, a 1st team CJFHCA selection, a Trenton Times 1st team all prep selection, a Princeton Packet 1st team selection, and a State Prep B 1st team selection. Her leadership led us to the Prep B finals. Andrea was a great captain and made this team better through her energy, work ethic, and passion for the game. She is a coach’s dream.” Ms. Jenkins made a total of 14 goals and 6 assists in her PDS career.
