Princeton Day School Welcomes Five New Trustees

Princeton – The Princeton Day School Board of Trustees is delighted to welcome five new members: Ben Frost ’92, Eddie Glaude, Gwyn Langeler, Chris Kuenne ’80, and Mark Tatum.

 

Ben Frost graduated from Princeton Day School in 1992, and received his B.S. from the University of Pennsylvania and MBA from the Wharton School of Business. He is currently Executive Director in Mergers and Acquisitions at Morgan Stanley & Co. in New York City. Mr. Frost has served on the Alumni Board at PDS since 2009, and will now serve as President of the Alumni Board. He is based in Manhattan.

Eddie Glaude is the parent of a Princeton Day School rising tenth grade student. He received his B.A. from Morehouse College, his M.A. from Temple University, Ph.D. from Princeton University, and is currently the William S. Tod Professor of Religion and African American Studies and Chair for the Center for African American Studies at Princeton University. He is also the author of In a Shade of Blue: Pragmatism and the Politics of Black America (University of Chicago Press, 2007), and co-editor, with Cornel West, of African-American Religious Thought: An Anthology (2004). He is based in Lawrenceville, NJ.

Gwyn Langeler is the parent of a Princeton Day School rising ninth grade student. She received her B.S. from the University of Maryland, and was formerly the Northeast Regional Sales Manager of Elizabeth Arden, Inc. Ms. Langeler is the Parents Association President-elect for the 2012-2013 academic year. She is based in New Hope, PA.

 

Chris Kuenne attended Princeton Day School from grades four through eight and graduated from the Lawrenceville School in 1980. He is the parent of a Princeton Day School rising seventh grade student. Mr. Kuenne received his B.A. from Princeton University and MBA from Harvard University, and is the Chairman and CEO of Rosetta Marketing Strategies, a Princeton-based company he founded in 1998. He is based in Princeton, NJ.

 

Mark A. Tatum is the parent of both a rising third grade student and rising fifth grade student at Princeton Day School. He received his B.S. from Cornell University and MBA from Harvard University. Mr. Tatum currently serves as the Executive Vice President of Global Marketing Partnerships for the National Basketball Association where he oversees marketing partnerships for the NBA, WNBA, NBA Development League, and USA Basketball both domestically and internationally. He is based in Plainsboro, NJ.

 

The Princeton Day School Board of Trustees promotes the school’s mission, appoints and oversees the head of school, establishes broad policies, plans strategically for the school’s future, and develops and stewards the school’s financial and capital resources. Composed of 22 members, including the Head of School, the Board of Trustees meets six times each year. Members, who serve three-year terms, are drawn from a variety of constituencies, including alumni, current and past parents and grandparents, and other friends of the school. The work of the board is completed through its standing committees, each of which meets regularly through the school year.

 

Princeton Day School is an independent, coeducational school educating students from
Pre-Kindergarten – Grade 12.
