University League Nursery Rings in Season with 'Spring Fling' May 8, 2011

The public is invited to attend University League Nursery School's annual "Spring Fling" celebration, featuring live music, entertainment and other activities for families. The event will be held from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 8, at the Carl Fields Center, 58 Prospect Ave., on the Princeton University campus.

As a special attraction, the "Spring Fling" will feature the popular children's music group Alex & His Kaleidoscope Band from 2 to 3 p.m.

The event also will feature a silent auction, food, arts and crafts with a special Mother's Day theme, and other entertainment for all ages.

Admission is $20 per family. All proceeds from the "Spring Fling" go toward scholarship funds for families who attend University League Nursery School.

University League Nursery School, located at 171 Broadmead St., offers two-, three- and five-day morning programs on a cooperative basis for children ages 2 1/2 through 4, as well as extended and full-day noncooperative care for children ages 3 and 4. The school is accepting applications for remaining openings in its 2011-12 academic year program.
