New Horizons Montessori is o=Observing an International Day at the school on December 8, 2010

 
 To mark the festive holiday season, New Horizons Montessori is observing an International Day at the school on Wednesday December 8. We plan to celebrate our diverse community with the following:
  
  
 -          Children prepare posters about their native countries and/or describe the different holidays they observe, costumes they wear at the holiday events, and other points of interest. These posters will be displayed in the hallway and classrooms.
  
  
 -          Parents will talk about  their native countries and/or describe the different holidays they observe.
  
  
 -         Ofcourse, no holiday party is complete without food. So we will enjoy foods from different lands.
  
  
 -        Children will dress in their native costumes and/or dresses.
