The Lewis School is celebrating its 40th Annual Summer Program. The Program
runs from June 24 - July 19. The Morning Academic Session includes
systematic and sequential arts-integrated, neuroscience research-based
multisensory classes, which strengthen the student's academic skills and
reinforce the essential mechanics of language. The Afternoon Enrichment
Session includes a wide variety of "hands-on," discovery learning programs
in both enrichment subjects and athletics. Current students, as well as
students from other schools, find our Summer Study Program beneficial to
reinforcing the foundations of learning and to repair those skills that are
not yet well-developed. The philosophy of The Lewis School is to understand
the challenges our students face-not as "learning disabilities" but as
distinctive learning differences that are coupled with remarkable capacities
of human perception and original thought.
