SATURDAY, JUNE 12, 2010 (rain date: June 13)

5 MILE TRAIL RUN / 1 MILE KIDS FUN RUN

Celebrate D&R Greenway Land Trust’s permanent preservation of the St. Michaels Farm Preserve in the heart of the Hopewell Valley with the inaugural running of the Hopewell Valley Trail Run

11:00am trail run start time

12:30pm fun run start time

$20 trail run / $10 fun run

All proceeds will be donated to D&R Greenway Land Trust

Awards: First Male, First Female, Youngest Finishers (Boy and Girl)

The Hopewell Valley Trail Run was born out of a love for trail running, the Hopewell Valley and the open space initiatives that are so important to the State of New Jersey. It was also born out of a desire to “give back.” We are hopeful that the H.V.T.R. (this year and for many years to come) will

raise funds to help protect and improve open space in our region
increase open-space awareness in our community
generate additional volunteers for trail building and other open space projects
provide an enjoyable new event for local runners to compete with others and to challenge themselves
