101 Sponsors Contribute to Make the New Hope Historical Society Garden Tour a Great Bucks County Event
What is 18 years old, gorgeous to look at, smells intoxicating, sounds mellifluous, and leaves you breathless? It’s the New Hope Historical Society’s annual self-guided garden tour that takes you on a journey through six extraordinary private Bucks County gardens. This year’s tour will be held Saturday, June 4 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. rain or shine with an invitation to attend a lecture on growing tropicals at a seventh garden at 4:30. The tour is possible thanks to 101 sponsors who contributed to make this a great Bucks County event.
Tickets are $30 and include a full color brochure with map, easy to follow directions, photos and descriptions of the gardens, all beautifully packaged in matching envelopes suitable for gift giving (think Mother’s Day and Father’s Day). Ticket holders will also receive a Garden Rewards Bag filled with gifts and offers from our sponsors and national partners, including the American Horticultural Society, Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, W. Atlee Burpee Seed Co., Country Gardens Magazine, and Espoma.
Visit our garden tour Web pages at www.newhopehs.org and click on the white clematis flowers for details and to purchase tickets by PayPal. Or call 215-862-5652 for credit card orders by phone. On June 4 tickets will be sold on the porch of the Parry Mansion Museum, 45 South Main Street, New Hope, Pa.
