Princeton, NJ -- The Princeton Center for Leadership Training (PCLT) received a $15,000 grant from the Princeton Area Community Foundation, the community foundation serving Mercer County and central New Jersey, to support general and operating expenses in 2009. PCLT is one of 34 organizations to receive funding through the Community Foundation. Grants totaling $534,532 were awarded to local nonprofits for a full-range of community building, program and operating support.
The funds will be used for strengthening and diversifying the organization’s funding base and other general program support. Daniel F. Oscar, President & CEO of PCLT, said, “This generous grant from the Princeton Area Community Foundation will enable PCLT to more effectively serve students and schools. We are so pleased to build this partnership between our two organizations in support of the Greater Mercer community.”
Founded in 1988, the Princeton Center for Leadership Training (PCLT) has a 21-year record of increasing the capacity of schools to graduate high school seniors prepared for the rigors of college and life beyond school. Our programs enable and inspire young people to become engaged leaders, positively influencing their peers in the areas of academic achievement and responsible decision-making.
