HMC Offers: A Program for Girls Only, a Heart-To Heart Talk on Growing Up May 5, 2012
Hunterdon Medical Center and Hunterdon Healthcare Partners will host For Girls Only: A Heart-to-Heart Talk on Growing Up for girls age 9-13 on Saturday, May 5th. Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. and the program will be from 10:00 a.m. ? noon in the Auditorium at Hunterdon Medical Center, 2100 Wescott Drive in Flemington.
This program will focus on changes of puberty, menstruation, acne, social issues, nutrition, exercise and much more. Speakers include: Jody Kroon, M.D., Pediatrician, Hunterdon Pediatric Associates; Cynthia Comporato, M.A., M.S.W., L.C.S.W.,
Clinical Coordinator, Outpatient Psychological Services, Hunterdon Behavioral Health and Michelle Wright, MS, RD, CDE, CSSD, Community Nutritionist, Center for Nutrition and Diabetes Management.
Girls will also enjoy an interactive health fair which will include: nail art and polish, tinsel and feather hair extensions, courtesy of the cosmetology students at Hunterdon County Poly-Tech Career Academy. Lunch will be provided for attendees.
