Princeton Family YMCA Participates in "My Y is Every Y"
New Jersey YMCA's Offer Membership Reciprocity
August 26, 2011 – The Princeton Family YMCA announced today that its members can now visit 31 New Jersey YMCAs at no additional cost.
It’s all part of a new partnership that brings together YMCAs in New Jersey under a unified reciprocity plan. In total, 31 participating Ys with 49 branches have instituted the cooperative program called “My Y is Every Y.”
“This program is an unprecedented step in strengthening the Ys impact on health and wellness in New Jersey,” said Kate Bech, CEO, Princeton Family YMCA.
A list of participating Ys is available on the YMCA website www.princetonymca.org or by calling 609-497-9622.
The unified reciprocity plan is an addition to the national AWAY (Always Welcome At YMCAs) program which allows access to YMCAs nationwide for a nominal fee. Similar reciprocity programs are in place in other regions of the Northeast including Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Maine.
