JW actors studio Teen Acting Company/Workshop Auditions & Registration Open House
JW actors studio in association with the Arts Council of Princeton will be holding auditions for the 6 remaining spots for their Teen Acting Company/Workshop on Saturday, August 21 from 12-2PM and
Tuesday, August 24 from 4-6PM and a registration Open House for our Acting for Film, Television, & Commercials workshops as well as our Oratory/Public Speaking/Presentation workshops at the Paul Robeson Center for the Arts, 102 Witherspoon Street, Princeton, NJ across from the Princeton Public Library. JWAS Teen Acting Company/Workshop: JW actors studio is proud to announce the launch of its professional training for young actors ages 13-18 in a Theater Company setting. The program will consist of our highly elevated training program and will include 3 productions/presentations throughout the season: an evening of monologues, an evening of short plays and improvisation, and finally, a full length play. Workshops will be visited by guest instructors, directors, and actors from New York. Our productions will be announced to and attended by industry professionals as we have access to some of the top talent management and agencies in New York and LA.
Film, Television, Commercials & Oratory/Public Speaking/Presentation Workshops: After running successful classes in acting and improvisation for the stage for the last 4 years in the Princeton area JW actors studio announces its professional workshops in film, television, and commercial acting. This workshop is a must for anyone seeking to be the best they can be on camera and is taught by a seasoned professional. The student will learn all of the basic techniques any great film actor needs to know and will move into ore advanced work. Students will walk away from these workshops with a new found confidence that they can tackle any role or challenge when put before a camera. Our workshops will be closely monitored by industry professionals.
Our Oratory/Public Speaking/Presentation workshops have expanded. After successful results in the past with schools, businesses, and individuals, the JW actors studio’s Oratory branch is brining its unique, acclaimed workshops to the Paul Robeson Center for the Arts! Students will have a great time as they learn the skills that will last them a lifetime by becoming the best they can be at the speaker’s podium, in the classroom, boardroom, or in their presentations. We will also cover interviewing skills. These workshops are a must for all students and professionals seeking that extra edge in a highly competitive environment!

Premiering in 2006, the JW actors studio was the brainchild of professional actor Jody Wood. Jody has been a professional actor for close to 30 years working in every aspect of the entertainment industry from stage, to Improv Comedy, to film, television, commercials, print, and radio. He has also been a public speaking coach and professional team building workshop director for numerous schools, Fortune 500 companies, politicians, universities and more. The Arts Council of Princeton (ACP), founded in 1967, is a non-profit organization with a mission of Building Community through the Arts.
