Healthy Kids Weekend Hosted by Princeton Family & Hopewell Valley YMCA April 17 - 18

2010 will mark the first Healthy Kids Weekend for the Princeton Family YMCA.  Healthy Kids Day on April 17 will be followed by the Strong Kids Triathlon on Sunday, April 18, from 9 am – 11 am for boys and girls ages three to 13.

The Princeton Family YMCA and the Hopewell Valley YMCA are joining together in 2010, and they invite families to “put some play in their day” at YMCA Healthy Kids Day at the Princeton Family YMCA, April 17,  from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm on the Athletic Field, rain or shine.  YMCA Healthy Kids Day promotes fun, physical activity for the whole family and provides families with tools and resources to help them get back to the basics, and adopt and maintain healthy lifestyles year round.

The triathlon on April 18 is the first of its kind in the Mercer county area and currently the only one in New Jersey to start as early as age three.  To register or for more information, visit www.princetonymca.org/events.  The entry fee is $15 per child.
