Rick Wolff Holds Forum for Parents of Young Athletes at Princeton Academy

Sports psychology coach Rick Wolff will hold a forum for parents, teachers, coaches and school administrators at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 10, in the Princeton Academy Athletic and convocation Center. The event is free of charge and open to the public.


A nationally recognized expert in the field of sports psychology and chairman of the Center for Sports Parenting, Wolff has written and lectured widely on the psychological pressures that accompany America’s passion for sports.

 
Since 1998, Wolff has hosted a weekly sports parenting program (“Rick Wolff’s Sports Edge”) on WFAN Radio in New York City. He is the author of 17 books, and was a former professional baseball player. Wolff will cover such topics as:-- At what age should a youngster begin to specialize in one sport? Or shouldn’t they? --What’s the best way for parents and coaches to communicate, so that there’s no friction?--How should parents behave at their kids’ games? And more importantly, how should parents behave with their kids when the game is over?--How much of a role do parents play in this?--The growing impact of travel and elite teams – what parents really need to know.
