Stuart Names Beth Crutcher as New Director of Institutional Advancement

PRINCETON, NJ, December 14, 2010 – Stuart Country Day School of the Sacred Heart, the all girls, college preparatory school has named Beth Crutcher as its new Director of Institutional Advancement.


Ms. Crutcher, who had been Senior Director of Development/Campaign Director at Princeton HealthCare System Foundation, will be in charge of all development and fundraising activities at Stuart. She will work closely with the Board of Trustees and Head of School on tactical policies, programs and operations that support the school’s mission and goals.


“Beth Crutcher is a very successful fundraiser, has tremendous education experience and a truly impressive non-profit background,” said Dr. Patty Fagin, Head of School at Stuart. “We believe she will make an immediate and tangible impact on our development efforts and are thrilled that she has chosen to join our Stuart community.”


Joe Stampe, Vice President for Development at Princeton HealthCare System said, “"Beth is a great colleague. I have never enjoyed working with someone so much.” Mr. Stampe continued, "I admire her ideas and work ethic, but most of all her solid performance and results. Ms. Crutcher comes to Stuart after five years at the Princeton HealthCare System Foundation overseeing strategic development and implementation to raise $150M to build the new Princeton Hospital. Prior to this she spent seven years at Princeton University in Leadership Gifts and raising significant support for major gifts of up to $5M from alumni and friends of the University. She previously directed development efforts where she raised many millions of dollars at Cranbrook Academy of Art/Educational Community, University of Michigan Henry Ford Estate and the Urban Institute for Contemporary Arts in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Ms. Crutcher holds a Masters Degree in Organizational Dynamics with a certificate in Leadership Development from the University of Pennsylvania, as well as a BFA in Arts Management with a Marketing Minor from Eastern Michigan University.
