Solebury School's Annual Dinner Auction May 5, 2012

The Solebury School, an independent day and boarding college preparatory school, located on Phillips Mill Road in Solebury, will be hosting its Annual Dinner Auction, themed “Cinco de Mayo,” on Saturday, May 5, 2012. The event will take place in the John D. Brown Athletic Center gymnasium at Solebury School, 6832 Phillips Mill Road, New Hope, PA 18938, from 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Tickets cost $60 per person.

The evening will start with hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar, and a great silent auction with lots for great items from local businesses to bid on from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. A sumptuous buffet dinner including mixed green salad with strawberry vinaigrette, chili rubbed flank steak, lime & cilantro grilled shrimp, vegetable enchiladas with cheese and picante sauce, fiesta rice, sweet plantains, and traditional vanilla flan, will be served at 7:45 p.m., followed by the live auction and prize drawing at 8:30 p.m. Here’s a chance to bid on a fabulous vacation on the island of Maui or a lovely Vermont getaway at Smugglers’ Notch Resort. How about a handcrafted Nakashima Black Walnut "Wohl" End Table or a pair of beautiful Diana Michaels diamond earrings for your favorite girl. All proceeds will benefit Solebury School.
