Waldorf School of Princeton to Offer Puppet Show in Honor of International Day of Peace
On Sunday, September 26 at 2 p.m. the Waldorf School of Princeton will host the Folk Tale Puppet Troupe for a performance of Philipka Baba Yaga, a classic Russian fairy tale, in honor of International Day of Peace. The show is appropriate for children ages 4 through 12. Admission is free. “Waldorf School of Princeton is pleased to participate in this worldwide effort towards peace for the second consecutive year. Our Waldorf School here in Princeton is one of 1,000 schools worldwide that provide a Waldorf Education. Storytelling is an important part of the education in each Waldorf school, so it seemed appropriate to offer a beautiful puppet show as our gesture of hope and peace. People from all over the globe call the Princeton area home, and we hope to welcome as many families as are able to attend this special performance”, said Nancy Lemmo, School Administrator. The performance will take place in Hagens Hall at Waldorf School of Princeton, located at 1062 Cherry Hill Road in Princeton.
