Princeton Family YMCA’s "Project Jump Shot", a $30,000 capital campaign to upgrade the Dodge Gymnasium. Project Jump Shot will provide resources to purchase four new backboards, winches, wall pads, and two brand new scoreboards to round out other recent gym improvements, including a curtain and floor refinishing. The campaign will run through the month of March. Mercer County Wildlife Center Now Accepting Volunteers
Mercer County Wildlife Center, which accepted and treated 2,200 birds, mammals and reptiles in 2014, is seeking individuals who would like to volunteer their time to care for animals brought to the Hopewell Township facility. The center is open 365 days a year. 2015 Princeton Environmental Film Festival (PEFF) Opens Thursday, March 19, at Princeton Public Library - Now in its ninth year, the award-winning festival features a line-up of acclaimed films and speakers presented on 11 days over a two-week period. Films and programs are scheduled both during the day and in the evening. Through the generosity of festival sponsors Church & Dwight Co. Inc., The Nature Conservancy, the Whole Earth Center of Princeton, the Friends of the Princeton Public Library and the Waldorf School of Princeton, all PEFF films are screened free of charge. Marna's Pals Scholarships - is a 501c3 organization that helps students whose families have been affected by cancer. This year, we are awarding $15,000 in scholarships to NJ students from across the State. The online application is available at www.marnaspals.com/apply-here and is due March 31st. The requirements are that a student's parent(s) or sibling(s) have battled cancer and that the student has a permanent residence in NJ, or attends school in NJ.


Community Performers Invited to MCCC Late Night Series
West Windsor, N.J. - Mercer County Community College’s (MCCC’s) Late Night Series, an open-mic event hosted by the MCCC Drama Club and MC Post Midnight, invites performers from Mercer County and beyond to share their talents in dance, music, acting, film-making, poetry and more. Performances take place in the college’s Studio Theatre, located on the West Windsor Campus at 1200 Old Trenton Road (next to Kelsey Theatre). Dates this spring are March 13 and 27 and April 10 and 24, and May 8. Benefit Concert for the Preservation of Carter Road with Kate Taylor ( sister of James), 7pm., In the spirit of this amazing community in which we live, singer-songwriter, and sister of sweet baby James, Kate Taylor is performing a benefit Concert for the Preservation of Carter Road on March 26, 7:00 pm, at the Off-Broad Street Theater. Bill Flemer's Riverside Bluegrass Band will open the concert after dessert and beverages. Tickets are limited to the first 100 reservations for a tax-deductible donation of $100.00 online here. Proceeds will help preserve 320 acres of land at the former Western Electric campus straddling both sides of Carter Road. The land will become an open-access park linking to the Hopewell-Lawrenceville Trail.

Designed to encourage and develop junior players ages 5-17 at all abilities through two programs. Our Junior Tennis and Sports Camp is designed to teach children to love the sport of tennis through fun on-and-off court games and drills that will develop the child’s skill. Our Tournament Training Camp is geared for tournament, high school tennis players and future collegiate stars.
