Princeton Day School’s Sports Academy is a full-day (8:30 AM - 3:30
PM), specialty day camp geared to students ages 10-15* with an interest
in learning all that it takes to become a skilled athlete in a particular
sport. Programs include boys and girls basketball, fencing, ice hockey,
boys lacrosse, soccer and softball.
The Sports Academy staff consists of top area coaches, college
athletes and a full-time athletic trainer. Our emphasis is on conditioning
young athletes and teaching fundamental, individual and team skills.
Instruction in flexibility, endurance, agility, proper diet and mental
attitude
are all part of the Sports Academy experience. Our 105-acre campus
includes three gymnasiums, the Lisa McGraw ’44 skating rink, numerous
top notch fields including the Bill Smoyer ’60 synthetic turf field
and the new state-of-the-art Patrick Kearney ’94 Fitness Center.

Summer at Stuart features both morning and afternoon sports programs for
>girls entering grades 3 to 8 as of fall 2009. Sports featured are field
>hockey, tennis, basketball, and lacrosse. Camp includes a T-shirt and a

>and afternoon session. Week-long sessions begin August 3 - 7 and run

Since the early 1990's Princeton University has been offering camps for young athletes in 22 sports. Today we host about 60 camps annually, with more than 7,000 athletes from around the world in attendance. All camps are held on the beautiful and historic Princeton University campus. Overnight campers reside in one of the University dormitories and take meals in the dining facilities. Each camp is directed by the Princeton University Varsity Coaches, with assistance from college coaches and players from around the country. Currently, we offer camps in the following sports: Baseball, Boy's Basketball, Girl's Basketball, Boy's Cross Country, Girl's Cross Country, Fencing,Field Hockey, Football, Co-Ed Ice Hockey, Girl's Ice Hockey, Boy's Lacrosse, Girl's Lacrosse, Rowing, Boy's Soccer, Girl's Soccer, Softball, Squash, Swimming, Tennis, Track & Field, Water Polo, and Wrestling.

Beat the Heat- all Princeton Sports Center camps are on air-conditioned TURF. Princeton Sports Center offers three levels of Lacrosse Camp for both boys and girls. The Beginner program is designed to both introduce players to the game of lacrosse with an emphasis on basic skill development and fundamentals of team play. With an emphasis on fun, campers develop confidence while they learn the game. The Intermediate camp is designed to improve fundamental skills and techniques while advancing the players' understanding of game concepts and team play. All players will be challenged to reach their highest level of play by a staff of current and former college players. The Evening Camp emphasizes all aspects of stickwork - shooting, dodging, possession skills, cradling, fakes, passing and receiving, and defensive play. Small game situations are taught and practiced in 7v7 games each night. All instructors are former or current D-I NCAA college players.
