Surgeons
J. Thomas Davidson, M.D.
Dr. J. Thomas Davidson was born in Indiana, raised in Michigan,
and attended Colgate University in upstate New York, graduating cum laude
in 1962. He then attended Cornell University Medical College in New York
City, receiving his medical degree there in 1966. After a year of internship
at the Baltimore City Hospital, Dr. Davidson began his surgical residency
at NYU-Bellevue Hospital Center in New York. His residency was interrupted
by two years of service as a surgeon in the US Air Force, after which
he returned to complete his residency at Bellevue. Dr. Davidson remained
there an extra year to complete a Fellowship in vascular surgery. He then
joined Princeton Surgical Associates in 1974.
Dr. Davidson is a Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery, a Fellow
of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the International
Society of Surgery. He is an active member of the International Society
of Cardiovascular Surgery, is President-elect of the Vascular Society
of New Jersey, and is a member of the Eastern Vascular Society. He is
vice-president of the N.J. Chapter of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Davidson is an Associate Clinical Professor of Surgery at the UMDNJ-Robert
Wood Johnson Medical School and has been in charge of that school's affiliated
surgical residency training program at The Medical Center at Princeton
since its establishment in 1974. He is a past president of the Medical
and Dental Staff of The Medical Center at Princeton and serves as a member
of the Center's Board of Trustees. Dr. Davidson has served as Chairman
of the Department of Surgery since 1992.
Kenneth A. Goldman, M.D.
Dr. Kenneth A. Goldman was born and raised in New York
and attended Cornell University, graduating with distinction in l984.
He then attended New York University Medical School in New York City,
receiving his medical degree in l988. He remained at New York University-Bellevue
Hospital Center for his internship and residency in General Surgery. This
was followed by a Fellowship in Vascular Surgery also at NYU Medical Center.
During this time he served as Clinical Instructor in Surgery at NYU Hospital
and Assistant Attending Surgeon for General and Trauma Surgery at Bellevue
Hospital. Upon completion of the sub specialty training in vascular surgery,
Dr. Goldman joined Princeton Surgical Associates in l994.
Dr. Goldman is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is board
certified in General Surgery, the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Goldman
is the first and thus far only surgeon at The Medical Center at Princeton
to be awarded the certificate of Added Qualifications in General Vascular
Surgery by the American Board of Surgery. He recently became certified
as a Registered Vascular Technologist. Dr. Goldman is a member of the
Peripheral Vascular Surgery Society and the Society for Clinical Vascular
Surgery. He has been involved in clinical research examining carotid artery
endarterectomy and has particular interest in carotid and aortic disease.
Dr. Goldman is the coordinator of surgical residency training at The Medical
Center at Princeton. He is Clinical Instructor in Surgery at the UMDNJ-Robert
Wood Johnson Medical School.
Rachel P. Dultz, M.D.
Dr. Rachel P. Dultz was born and raised in New York City
and graduated from the State University of New York, Binghamton in l987
with a degree in Biology. She received her Medical Degree in l99l from
SUNY-Health Science Center in Brooklyn, New York four years later. Dr.
Dultz completed a six-year university training program in General Surgery
at the UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Piscataway/New Brunswick,
New Jersey in l997. She had a research fellowship at the same institution
for one year, l993-l994. Her research topic was "Endothelial Cell Expression
of Adhesion Cell Receptors."
Prior to joining Princeton Surgical Associates in l998, Dr. Dultz completed
a Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship at Baylor University Medical Center
in Dallas, Texas. While at Baylor, Dr. Dultz received advanced training
in the diagnosis and management of breast diseases including sentinel
node biopsy, skin-sparing mastectomy, and breast ultrasonography. She
has presented scientific papers at numerous medical meetings on topics
such as adhesion molecules, breast cancer treatments results, and diagnostic
techniques. Dr. Dultz is certified by the American Board of Surgery and
is a member of the Association of Women Surgeons and the American College
of Surgeons.
Steven P. Kahn, M.D.
Dr. Steven P. Kahn was born in New York City and graduated
from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. He returned to New York
City and graduated from New York Medical College in 1967. He completed
his surgical residency at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
It was here in Michigan that Dr. Kahn developed his specialty interest
in vascular and head & neck surgery. After completing his year as
chief resident in 1973, Dr. Kahn served two years as a surgeon in the
US Army Medical Corps.
His surgical practice in the Princeton area began in 1975. His practice
grew rapidly and he has consistently maintained one of the busiest general
surgical practices in the Princeton area. Dr. Kahn is a Diplomate of the
American Board of Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
He belongs to the International Society of Cardiovascular Surgery, the
Vascular Society of New Jersey, and the Eastern Vascular Society. He is
also a member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and
the Fred Coller Surgical Society. Dr. Kahn is an Associate Clinical Professor
of Surgery at the UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Dr. Kahn enjoys
general surgery and has particular interest in vascular, oncologic, thyroid
and parathyroid surgery.
Lawrence J. Jordan, III, M.D.
Dr. Lawrence J. Jordan, a son of physicians, was born in
Philadelphia and raised in Philadelphia and Abington, Pennsylvania. He
graduated with honors from Abington High School in l975 and completed
his Bachelor of Science degree, with distinction, from Cornell University,
College of Engineering, in l979. Dr. Jordan moved to New York City where
he earned his medical degree from Cornell University Medical College in
l983, and completed his surgical residency at Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital
in New York City in l988.
Upon completion of his surgical residency, Dr. Jordan became an attending
physician at the Medical Center at Princeton and a Clinical Instructor
of Surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey,
Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Dr. Jordan became a Fellow of the
American College of Surgeons in l991 and is board certified in general
surgery by the American Board of Surgery. He is also a member of the Society
of Laproendoscopic Surgeons and the American Society of Gastrointestinal
Endoscopy.
Dr. Jordan specializes in general, oncologic, laproscopic, and endoscopic
surgical procedures. In addition to maintaining a busy surgical practice,
Dr. Jordan contributes his time to many cancer awareness programs.
Henry Davison, Jr., M.D.
Dr. Henry Davison, Jr. grew up in Fort Smith, Arkansas
and graduated first in his class from Northside High School. He received
a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Columbia College in New York in l983.
He then attended Columbia University's College of Physicians and Surgeons,
where he graduated with distinction, earning membership of Alpha Omega
Alpha, the national medical honor society.
In l992, Dr. Davison completed a General Surgery residency at the Columbia-Presbyterian
Hospital in New York City. He entered practice as a surgeon in Princeton
that year. In l993 Dr. Davison was named Fellow of the American College
of Surgeons and was board certified in General Surgery by the American
Board of Surgery. He has taught medical students and surgical residents
from the University of Medicine and Dentistry, Robert Wood Johnson Medical
School as a Clinical Instructor of Surgery since his arrival in Princeton.
Dr. Davison's training at Columbia included extensive experience in cancer
surgery, especially of the breast and gastrointestinal tract. In addition,
he is interested in and accomplished as a thoracic, laproscopic, and endoscopic
surgeon. Dr. Davison emphasizes a compassionate, individualized approach
to patient care.
Nisha S. Dhir, M.D.
Dr. Nisha Dhir was born and raised in the Philadelphia
area. She is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Temple University and received
her Medical Doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania. Her surgical
internship and residency were completed in 1998 at the Mount Sinai program
in New York City.
During the last five years, Dr. Dhir has been a Surgical Attending in
the Mount Sinai system at Elmhurst Hospital Center in Queens, New York.
She comes to our practice highly qualified in all aspects of general surgery
including oncologic, gastrointestinal, colorectal, advanced laparoscopic
and breast surgery. Dr. Dhir was also the Director of the Breast Center
at Elmhurst Hospital.
Dr. Dhir is board certified in General Surgery by the American Board of
Surgery and in 2005 was named a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
She was an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Mount Sinai and is now teaching
medical students and surgical residents through the UMDNJ-Robert Wood
Johnson program at the University Medical Center at Princeton. She is
a member of both the American Medical Association and the Society of Laparoendoscopic
Surgeons.
Sae J. Hahm, M.D.
Dr. Sae Hahm was born in Seoul, South Korea. He came to
the United States at the age of three and grew up in Abington, Pennsylvania.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Duke University
and his Doctorate of Medicine from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine
in New York, where he also did a one-year research fellowship in Pathology.
Since 1997, Dr. Hahm has been at the University of Medicine and Dentistry
of New Jersey- Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, doing
both his internship and residency in general surgery. He completed the
program as the Chief Resident of Surgery here at the University Medical
Center at Princeton. He remained at the UMDNJ- Robert Wood Johnson where
he recently completed a Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Fellowship.
Dr. Hahm is board certified in General Surgery and board eligible in Vascular
Surgery. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the Vascular
Society of New Jersey and the Society for Vascular Surgeons. As a surgical
attending at the Medical Center, he will become a Clinical Instructor
of Surgery for the UMDNJ-RWJ Medical School, teaching surgical residents
and medical students. Dr. Hahm is recently married and plans to reside
in the Princeton area.
