20th Anniversary of the Fall of the Berlin Wall concert of Sinfonietta Nova
On Nov. 9, 1989, the world watched and rejoiced as the Brandenberg Gates were flung open, the Berlin Wall fell, and all of Germany was reunited once again. Celebrate this momentous occasion with Sinfonietta Nova as we commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the Fall of the Berlin Wall. Under the baton of Artistic Director and Conductor Gail H. Lee, this celebratory concert will include Bach’s Brandenburg Concerti Nos. 3 and 4, as well as Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5. Also on the program will be choral works of Mark Hayes (One World) and John Rutter (Distant Land) performed by the Capital Singers of Trenton. The concert will take place at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 177 Princeton-Hightstown Road (Rt. 571) on Saturday, Nov 7, 2009 at 7:30PM. Tickets are available at the door for $15 (general admission), $12 (seniors), $8 (students); children under 12 are admitted free. A reception will follow.
