It's a week before the Christmas Holidays and you still have no idea for a gift! What about a Travel Gift Certificate? Travel Gift Certificates can be purchased for any amount and can be used at any time - usually within a one year time period.

Many times clients come into our offices looking to travel during major holiday periods with only a month or two advance notice. They are surprised to find that the resort or cruise they want is sold out and the low fares offered by the airlines are not available. And they are disappointed.

Major holiday travel periods need planning and reservations many, many months in advance to get the best options and availability. Since all resorts, cruises and airlines accept reservations up to 10 months in advance, it is highly recommended to make you Thanksgiving and Christmas reservations in January or February. Waiting until September or October may get you a cruise or airfare, but maybe not at the lowest cost.

Now is the time to book your Spring Break. Because the Alaska Cruise and Tour season is only May through September, now is the time to be looking at package options. Thinking of Walt Disney World over Memorial Day? Think now!! Thinking of visiting the Grand Canyon or Yellowstone? Book your airfare and accommodations now. The whole world is available and the further ahead you can plan and confirm reservations, the better off you will be financially.

The up-front cost of a cruise and tour vacation is usually a per person deposit. Final payment is normally required 45-60 days prior to departure. So your cost for planning well in advance is minimal.
