The West Windsor Bicycle & Pedestrian Alliance is a not for profit corporation established January 2006. Our goal is to promote bicycling and walking in West Windsor, emphasizing access, increased mobility, education and safety. West Windson Walks: Bear Brook Road and the Alexander Road crossing at Bear Brook Road/Vaughn Drive, Tuesday, May 13th

Our most recent "West Windsor Walks," held Tuesday, May 13th examined the difficulties that pedestrians and bicyclists encounter along Bear Brook Road and at the crossing of Alexander Road at Bear Brook Road/Vaughn Drive. Local residents and township officials were invited to participate in this walk and to help brainstorm about potential improvements and come up with a set of recommendations, and the Final Recommendations for Bear Brook Road/Vaughn Drive have been released. The Spring 2008 WWPBA Newsletter is now available online. Our fourth newsletter has been sent out to members, and also posted to our website. The Spring 2008 newsletter contains information on upcoming events, updates on bicycle and pedestrian projects, volunteer opportunities for adults and children, and more.

Now available is the presentation from the WWBPA Annual Meeting on February 21, 2008 as well as the 2007 WWBPA Annual Report.

The Delware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC) has released a Taming Traffic Study of Clarksville Road. This is an amazing vision study of what Clarksville Road could look like in the future.

West Windsor Bicycle & Pedestrian Alliance outlines 2007 Budget Recommendations

In a letter to West Windsor Mayor Shing-Fu Hsueh, the WWBPA proposes a number of critical sidewalk and crosswalk projects, as well as recommended bike lane patheways.

The West Windsor Bicycle & Pedestrian Alliance has issued its recommendations for pedestrian saftey improvements at the intersection of Princeton-Hightstown Road, Cranbury Road and Wallace Road. This intersection, near the Princeton Junction train station, is particulary perilous for pedistrians. The recommendations details traffic patterns, lights, crosswalks and other improvements required to ameliorate the dangerous conditions.
