  • ACMET-L, the Academic Metal Crafts discussion group. You can join this group by sending the message "sub ACMET-L your name".
  • ART193, a fine arts computing group. You can join this group by sending the message "sub ART193 your name".
  • ArtCrit, an art criticism discussion forum. You can join this group by sending the message "sub ARTCRIT your name".
  • ARTnet Listserv, a listserv for art education advocacy. Respond with NO subject line, and message that contains the line: 'subscribe artnet Your Name'. Once you have subscribed, you can participate in the discussion by sending email to: artnet@nde4.nde.state.ne.us.
  • Art Alert USA, with timely information on federal legislation, policies, and initiatives affecting the arts and arts education communities. Send the message "subscribe arts-alert-usa" to subscribe.
  • Art Deadlines List, a list of competitions, contests, call for entries/papers, grants, scholarships, fellowships, jobs, internships, etc, in the arts or related areas. To subscribe, send a blank e-mail message with "SUBSCRIBE DEADLINES" in the subject line. If you wish to add a competition, put "NEW DEADLINE" in the subject line.

  • CELMAIL, a newsletter you can subscribe to via e-mail. Put "Subscribe your e-mail address" in the message. This newsletter deals with buying and selling animation, and news updates on famous animation artists. They also have a web page
  • CG-CHAR, Computer Graphics Character Animation. You can join this group by sending the message "sub CG-CHAR your name".
  • CGE, Computer Graphics Education Newsletter. You can join this group by sending the message "sub CGE your name".
  • Clayart, a forum for discussion of issues of interest to those in the fields of ceramic arts/pottery. Topics include aesthetics, exhibits, grant info., technical info., jobs, etc. To subscribe to this list, type in 'subscribe clayart your first and last name' with no Subject heading.

  • The EMIG Discussion List. This is a list of the National Art Educators Association. To subscribe to this list, type in 'subscribe naea-emig (your name)'. Go here for more information.
  • FiberNet, which deals with all aspects of the fiberarts and crafts as well as fiber technology, and fiber production. To subscribe to this list, send the message, "subscribe fibernet".
