Look at the work of a contemporary sculptor. How does his work compare to the gargoyles of the Middle Ages? What new information did you learn about gargoyles from this Web Page? What was a "Bestiary" and why were they important to the people of the Middle Ages?  Be sure to read about the "Green Man".  See Mr. Arnold's gargoyles decorating the Washington Cathedral.
