| Seventh grade students studied the
art of Western Africa. Print images are inspired by sculptures, masks and relief wall
plaques. Border designs are reminiscent of textile designs. Printing plate
impressions were made into the clay for their box tops. Plate designs were
woodburned into mancala boards made by the 7th grade technology classes.
