Bumper Sticker Design

Graphic Design: Bumper sticker Theme: Peace - Words for America - Feelings

Time: one class period

Materials: large white tablet, black markers, watercolor markers, pencils, rulers, erasers, 4" strip of tag board - assorted lengths 12" - 18" - 24"

  1. Brainstorm on words for American  What America stands for. Record words on large paper.
  2. Select word or words for your bumper sticker - What do you want to say about America?
  3. Draw letters - use a font that will be easy to read - block letters.
  4. Outline with black permanent markers
  5. Color with watercolor markers
  6. Share with other students if time remaining.
