Art Work of Barbara Yalof
Inspired by Romare Beardon

The one on the far right is The Dark and Windy
Road. The collage on the left has a more personal meaning. It's the
left side of the "canvas" vs. the right side. From Barbara:
"It's a mother whose daughter is leaving for college far away in a
big city. To the left you will see home and the right side is askew with
the city poking in from various areas.. The mother seems to be
struggling to hold on while letting go, the daughter, well, to let go and
to hold on too I suppose . The mother looks a whole lot younger
than I do, and I'm not a blonde, but that's the "artistic
license"... Click to see larger images.
