Joined by Hopewell Valley Chorus members Carol and Bob Woodford, of Hopewell (center and right), Johnny Abernathy, owner of the Boro Bean, in Hopewell, prepares to enjoy a cup of coffee from the chorus’s 50th anniversary mug, The mugs are available for sale ($8 or 2/$15) at the Boro Bean, 9 E. Broad St., and are printed with Ella Fitzgerald’s words: “The only thing better than singing is more singing..” All sales support “To Music,” a special piece commissioned for the chorus’s 50th anniversary concert, in 2010.
