The 2007 GSAVC Show was held at Grace St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Mercerville, NJ.

The Educational Table featured an informative exhibit of the various types of African Violet plant leaves. An African Violet plant is classified according to the characteristics of its blossoms as well as the characteristics of its leaves (i.e., the leaf color, shape, type of edge, etc.)

Orchard’s Bumble Magne won Best Miniature and Best in Show.

Mac’s Valorous Victory hybridized and exhibited by GSAVC member George McDonald.

Mac’s Kismet Knight hybridized and exhibited by GSAVC member George McDonald.

Episcias are members of the Gesneriad family and as cousins of African Violets can be entered in the Show. They have wonderfully colored leaves and can be exhibited with or without flowers.

S. Sigi Falls exhibited by Fred Hill won Best Species.

The Tri-State African Violet Council Collection Award is presented to the best collection of three different named plants.
