Lunch Bunch / LEAP

The Lunch Bunch program starts in early October for children in the 4K and 5K classes. Sign-ups are handled by the Special Programs Chair. Lunch Bunch is offered Monday through Thursday from 12 to 1:30 and offers children the chance to bring lunch and play informally with their friends. The 3X class may participate on Mondays and Wednesdays starting in December.

Typically Lunch Bunch includes outdoor playtime or indoor activity (if the weather is bad), followed by lunch at 1 pm. It is a great opportunity for friendships to form across class divisions, building a sense of community among the children within the school.

Sign-up for Lunch Bunch is done three times a year, on a first-come first-serve basis. Drop-ins are permitted on any given day, if there is still space available.

A separate fee is charged to participate in the Lunch Bunch program.

LEAP

The Lunchtime Exploration & Adventure Program (LEAP) is an extended-day enrichment program conducted from 12:00 to 2:30pm on Tuesdays instead of Lunch Bunch.

Students who participate in LEAP will investigate a specifically-chosen weekly theme from many different perspectives, including cooking, drama, creative movement and crafts.

LEAP is offered to 4K and 5K students in three sessions held throughout the school year. Enrollment is by a lottery held shortly before the start of each session.

Pricing for the LEAP program will be determined during the school session.
