Class Enrichment
Our curriculum is enhanced with instruction in music, drama, Spanish, and tumbling. Music is offered to all four regular classes once a week. The 4K and 5K classes participate in one additional enrichment class each week: drama in the fall, tumbling in the winter, and Spanish in the spring.
Since Cherry Hill Nursery School is located adjacent to Community Park
in Princeton, the classes frequently take Nature Walks on the trails to see local wildlife
habitats and the world up close.
In addition to the weekly enrichment classes, all-school programs and
assemblies are scheduled several times a year, and have included visits from the Princeton Fire
Department, Storytelling, Science Demonstrations, and Traveling Animal Exhibits.
Field Trips help expand the children's knowledge through hands-on
learning. Trips are scheduled periodically throughout the year, and have included visits to Princeton
Fire Department, Doyle's Farm, Lee's Turkey Farm, NJ State Museum, Kelsey Theater, Strawberry Picking, and Acorn Glen Assisted Living Center (Holiday visits with the residents.) Parents are required to help drive and chaperone on all field trips.
