Handprint
Butterfly
| Background:
The
young students are learning about the amazing life cycle and
transformation of the butterfly.
Just as butterflies are same and different, so are our
handprints.
We are combining the two in this craft. |
Product:
A handprint butterfly, made of as many handprints and colors
as desired. Handprints
may be cut out and pasted; or they can be printed.
The handprints may be all the young student’s; or they can
be in pairs, which could then show different sizes.

Materials Needed:
As
desired, paper, pencil, scissors, crayons/ markers/ or paint.
Several colors of construction paper may be used for cut out
handprints. |

Process:
Draw
a picture of both of child’s hands. Either the young
student can draw around one of his hands with the other hand, or
the adult or older sibling may do the drawing, as appropriate.
The drawings may then be colored in and cut out by the young
student. Repeat procedure of other family members’
hands are to be used in the product.
Alternate:
Young student paints hand with chosen color and then prints in on
paper to form wings. Add other handprints as desired.

Huellas
de Mariposas
| Historía: Los
niños estan aprendiendo acerca del maravilloso ciclo de la
vida y la transformación de la mariposa.
Como las mariposas que son iguales pero diferentes,
como nuestras huellas. Nosotros estamos combinando estas dos
actividades. |
Actividad:
Las mariposas se pueden realizar con muchas huellas y de
muchos colores, usted las puede cortar y pegar y las puede
hacer de diferentes tamaños.

que necesita:
Como usted decida papel, lapiz, Tijeras, crayones/marcadores
/ pintura.

Instrucciones:
Trace la
mano de su niño, si su niño lo puede ralizar por si
mismo, las manos deben estar juntas SI va a doblar el
papel o separadas si las va a cortar, puede escoger como
decorarlas o pintarlas.
Alternativo:
Le puede pintar las manitos del color que el niño
desee y hacer que coloque sus huellas sobre un papel.

huellas.
