In addition to the semi-monthly lectures and trips we also have a number of community service and other activities:
Princeton Senior Resource Center, (PSRC)
We have found an almost effortless way to raise money for the PSRC. Bob Levine has some PSRC addressed envelopes available. If you shop at McCaffreys please include their receipts in the envelope you get from Bob. Also any time you pay an Comcast TV bill put the check and the bill in the same envelope. When the envelope is full mail it. PSRC gets $2 for each bill it collects and also earns money for the receipts. If you need more information or would like a pre-addressed packet of envelopes just click
Here to email Bob Levine to send you some. Be sure to include your mailing address.
Investment Clubs
We have two investment clubs. The turnout for the project was too unwieldy for one club,so two were formed.
The Princeton Pikers quickly reached its quota of 25. The President of the Pikers as of Jan. 1, 2007 is Mark Branon or call him at 924-4082. If you are interested in joining this club contact Savin.
The more well heeled Equity Prospectors, LLP organized as a formal partnership. If you would like to join this club contact president Stanley Thune. (Note: This page makes no recommendations for or against investing)
55PLUS Computer Group
The Computer group demonstrates how to use a personal computer for word processing, record keeping, e-mail, using digital photography, accessing the Internet and other computer related subjects. Meetings take place regularly at the Jewish Center. No computer experience needed, and you are welcome even whether you are a novice or have joined the computer age.
The club meets at the Jewish Center on Thursdays when 55PLUS meetings are not being held. The meeting dates, when they are scheduled, are posted on the Meetings page.
A few times a year the group takes a field trip and on these trips as well as at other meetings, spouses and companions of either sex are invited. These trips are organized by Sam Goldfarb. If you have a special location you think the group should visit contact him.
